to the Gaspee Days Celebration,
an event marking America's First
Blow
For Freedom, the burning of the
Gaspee. The festival features
an
arts & crafts
fair, a colonial gala ball, a
children's costume contest,
a
colonial encampment, and the annual
Gaspee Parade along Narragansett
Parkway. A mock Colonial battle
ensues, culminating with the symbolic
