GASPEE DAYS CELEBRATION

Every year since 1966, from May through June, Pawtuxet Village plays
host to the Gaspee Days Celebration, an event marking America's First
Blow For Freedom, the burning of the Gaspee. The festival features an
arts & crafts fair, a colonial gala ball, a children's costume contest,
a colonial encampment, and the annual Gaspee Parade along Narragansett Parkway. A mock Colonial battle ensues, culminating with the symbolic burning of the Gaspee. Call 781-1772 for information about the dates and times for this year's festivities

This heavily bunkered course has both large and small greens that are fairly fast. Water hazards (ponds) come into play on a number of holes. Geoffrey Cornish designed nine new holes, which were added in 1963.
